Notes from the composer:

This piece is inspired by Frederic Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1, Op. 11 in E minor, II. Romanze. The first theme after the introduction opens with a major 6th to pay homage to the piano’s entrance in Chopin’s concerto. I was also influenced by Nobuo Uematsu’s Aerith’s Theme from Final Fantasy VII, which is more obvious in my orchestrated version. This piece works well as a wedding recessional. I have had the privilege of playing this for two weddings in 2024! This may be my favorite original composition.
