Notes from the composer:

This piece was written after studying binary form in my composition textbook from which I am self-taught. Despite the minuet’s short duration, it is very challenging to play, so I am glad I finally made a clean recording with no need for splicing! This piece is in B-flat major and the second section begins in the dominant key, F major. It is one page of sheet music and 1 minute and 10 seconds in duration, hence the name Short and Sweet. This is the only track that I played from a finished music score, which surprisingly made the whole process more stressful than the memorized and partially improvised tracks.
