Notes from the composer:

This piece remained untitled until this year, 2025. I kept picturing my living room from my home growing up with the sheer curtains and sunlight shining through. However, naming this song Living Room, Sun through Sheer Curtains or Acrosonic (the 1950s Baldwin spinet piano I played growing up) sounded silly. But it does remind me of a cat rolling in a sunbeam, soaking up its warmth. Through my life, I have had 5 cats: Misty, Stardust, Zoey, Muffin, and Mia. And all of them loved (or currently love in Mia’s case) rolling in sunbeams through the window. This piece uses a basic I-vi-IV-V progression in the key of C major, made famous by Heart and Soul, which my family and friends would play along with me as a kid.
